Painting/Topcoats

The paint coat or topcoat is usually the final stage of a repair unless vortex generator or serrations need to be applied.

Before applying a topcoat the area must be masked off and cleaned. The area being painted must be sanded/abraded to a maximum of 240 grit. Any higher could result in the paint not adhering to the surface and eventually flaking or chipping away.
